As ST records impressive figures for its summer charity count, the illustrious Barry Atkinson heads out for another season of beating for charity
As the count drew to a close, one last push was made to finish on a high and readers responded by raising a total of £227,453 in the final two weeks. This is not the end of charity counting for ST, and as one count finishes, another begins. Throughout the shooting season, ST will be following the progress of super beater Barry Atkinson on his tireless journey around the shoots of the country in an effort to raise £1million for his two chosen charities — the NGO Charitable Trust and Cancer Research UK.
