E.J Churchill launches young guns packages to suite all needs.

Sir Edward Dashwood and Mark Osborne, the owners of E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground, gunmakers and sporting agencies, are focusing their promotion of both game and clayshooting at the younger end of the market. E. J. Churchill is set to launch its “Hotshotz” package for young Shots on
its stand at this year’s CLA
Game Fair.
The package is aimed at encouraging under-19-year-olds not only to be good Shots but also to shoot correctly and safely. As the needs of new Shots vary, E. J. Churchill has developed a variety of tailored packages to suit Shots with different requirements, ranging from the basic “pigeon” package, priced at £55, to
the perfect have-a-go session, which includes an hour’s tuition, 50 clays and cartridges plus
gun hire and safety equipment. Prices increase steadily up to
the “Grouse” package at £495. The highly comprehensive course comprises three one-hour lessons, a 45-minute briefing on gun safety and gameshooting etiquette, a
day’s simulated gameshooting at the West Wycombe estate,
a matching cartridge bag and gunsleeve with embossed initials and a 10 per cent reduction on any young
Shot’s gun in the E. J. Churchill gunroom.
On signing up, members also receive a bag of “goodies”, including membership to the Countryside Alliance.
