Wilson's success is set to revitalise the sport
Britain’s new Olympic shooting superstar, Peter Wilson, embarked on a whirlwind media tour last week after taking gold in the Double-Trap competition at London 2012.
Governing body British Shooting described the 25-year-old as “an incredible ambassador for the sport”, and said that his success and subsequent high public profile would “no doubt revitalise shooting in this country”.
Among the influential names who discussed the future of shooting with Peter were Prime Minister David Cameron and London 2012 chairman Lord Coe.
