First time at the Olympics for Team GB's youngest shooter
Scottish shooter Jennifer McIntosh, the youngest member of Team GB’s shooting squad, said she was happy with her performance, despite being eliminated from the 10m rifle competition in the qualifying round.
She said: “It took me about three shots to realise that the crowd were going to cheer me after every shot — it was an incredible feeling. Score-wise I didn’t do as well as I’d liked but I felt like I performed well overall. I would have liked to have got into the final, but it is my first Olympics and I see it as a great experience.”
