Police my ban, says Watson
Mike Watson, the politician behind Scotland’s hunt ban, has called on police to enforce the law after Scottish hunts suggested that three times as many foxes are being killed now than before the ban. Watson, a Labour life peer jailed in 2005 for starting a fire in an Edinburgh hotel, said: “The [ban] was difficult legislation to frame… But that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be enforced.”
