The British Deer Society are carrying out a survey to find out the distribution of the UK's deer
The British Deer Society (BDS) has begun its latest survey to find out the distribution of the UK’s deer and is keen for stalkers and deer enthusiasts to get involved.
The BDS has recorded the distribution of the six deer species living wild in the UK for a number of years — the society’s 2002 and 2007 surveys showed significant expansions of deer colonisation for all species. Five years on, the BDS is eager to record the presence of each deer species within every 10km2 area of the UK land mass.
