Details of the shooting competitions at the 2012 London Olympics have now been released
On which days of the Olympics does shooting take place? 28 July – 6 August.
Where does it all happen? The Royal Artillery Barracks, Woolwich, London.
How many fans will be able to view the events? Around 7,500 will be seated in temporary grandstands erected at each range.
How many disciplines are there in total? 10 – seven for pistols or rifles, and three for shotguns.
How much do tickets cost? Between £20 and £40.
Are there different types of tickets? Yes. The ‘Finals Hall & Ground Pass’ gives spectators access to all events. The ‘Ground Pass’ gives access to everything apart from the rifle and pistol finals.
When can I apply for tickets? Tickets will be on sale from 15 March to 26 April 2011. All oversubscribed sessions will be allocated via a ballot so there is no advantage to be gained from getting your application in early.
