Wildlife campaigners have increased efforts to fight the proposals for a badger cull

Wildlife campaigners are increasing efforts to fight the proposals for a badger cull. The RSPCA, Badger Trust, Viva, League Against Cruel Sports and Secret World have joined to form the Badger Protection League. They have launched a website that highlights five ways in which people can fight the cull. This has already won the backing of Sir David Attenborough, Simon King, Joanna Lumley, Chris Packham and Brian May. The consultation period in England ends today.
