This year’s stand is packed with subscription offers, whisky tasting, DOG cartoons and a special early-bird VIP pass

Visitors to this year’s Shooting Times stand (No H512 on Gunmakers Row) at the 52nd CLA Game Fair will be able to meet the magazine’s editorial staff and contributors and also take advantage of a special subscription offer. Shooting Times’s Game Fair subscription offer, which is discounted by 40 per cent, means you will pay only £17.16 every three months by direct debit and those who subscribe at the show will receive a free bottle of The Balvenie Signature malt whisky, worth more than £30.

Throughout the three-day event — which is being held at Ragley Hall, near Alcester in Warwickshire, from 23 to 25 July — The Balvenie Signature whisky, together with the entire Balvenie malt collection will be available for visitors to taste at the stand, expertly guided by The Balvenie taster, Dr Andrew Forrester. John Humphreys, Tony Jackson and David Tomlinson will be visiting the stand, and Keith Reynolds, the artist behind Shooting Times’s hugely popular DOG cartoon, will also be present, pen in hand. You will be able to buy original cartoons and view the larger drawings in Keith’s Game Fair display.

New this year is an “earlybird” offer, whereby the first 10 new subscribers each day get a pair of tickets allowing them entry to the Shooting Times VIP hospitality area, where they will receive a complementary soft drink. Shooting Times’s Editor Alastair Balmain encouraged readers to visit the stand: “We would be delighted to get feedback, comments and suggestions from readers, so do head over to our stand.” For tickets and further information, visit www.gamefair.co.uk.
