According to new research dogs with docked tails are less likely to sustain tail injuries
Dogs with docked tails are less likely to sustain tail injuries, according to new research published in the British Veterinary Associations weekly journal, The Veterinary Record. The findings show that cocker and springer spaniels are particularly prone to painful and debilitating tail injuries if docking is not carried out.
