The results of Shooting Times's online poll for December

Shooting Times’s online poll for December asked Should raised laying cages be banned for the production of gamebird eggs in England? Of the 142 respondents, 64 per cent said yes, the cages should be banned. The Game Farmers’ Association, which lobbies to keep the cages but with enrichment, said: “Of the people who said cages should be banned, how many knew nearly all partridges shot in the UK come from eggs produced in cages? Would they answer ‘yes’ if asked, ‘Should all partridges shot in the UK come from eggs produced in France?’”
