BASC Scotland, the Scottish Gamekeepers Association and the Scottish Countryside Alliance are conducting follow-up research into the way in which the banning of tail docking in Scotland has affected the shooting community.
Consultant Airlie Bruce Jones has been tasked with collating evidence on the bans effects. He said: I would like to hear from keepers in Scotland who have stopped breeding their spaniels and are now sourcing their working dogs from England, Wales or Ireland.
