This year's stand is packed Subscription offers, whisky tasting, book sales and signings as well as DOG cartoons

Visitors to this year’s Shooting Times stand (No F692 on Gunmakers’ Row), at the 51st CLA Game Fair will be able to meet the magazine’s editorial staff and also take advantage of numerous special offers and discounts.

During the three-day event, which is being held at Belvoir Castle, near Grantham in Leicestershire, from 24 to 26 July, visitors will be able find out more about the new-look Shooting Times. They will also be able to take advantage of the special subscription offer, which is discounted by 41 per cent, meaning a total cost of only £16.95 every three months by direct debit. Those that subscribe at the show will receive a free bottle of The Balvenie Signature malt whisky (worth more than£30).

Throughout the Game Fair, The Balvenie Signature whisky and the entire Balvenie malt collection will be available for visitors to taste on the stand, expertly guided by The Balvenie taster, Dr Andrew Forrester. Shooting Times will also be hosting a fantastic book sale on the stand. Some books will be half-price and some signed by the authors, such as Game Season, by John and Angela Humphreys, and Travelling Jack, by Ian Valentine.

Keith Reynolds, the artist of Shooting Times’s DOG cartoon will be on the stand drawing DOG. He will also have copies of his book DOG II, priced at £4.95, which he will be happy to sign for you.

Shooting Times’s acting Editor, Alastair Balmain encouraged readers to visit the stand to give their view on the redesigned magazine: “We would be delighted to get feedback, comments and suggestions from readers, so do head over to our stand, which you can find on Gunmakers’ Row, opposite the BASC enclosure.”
