The Arundel estate, in Sussex, has been awarded a Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) Grey Partridge Trophy.
The trophy was presented to headkeeper Tom Goodridge by Richard Thomas of chartered surveyors BTF last month. The GWCTs Peter Thompson said: In a year when many people were struggling to produce broods because of the wet summer, the estate has managed to increase substantially its population of grey partridges.
