The Welsh Assembly has revealed a new action plan to stamp out wildlife crime, which commits the devolved Government to work with the police, the Countryside Council for Wales and the RSPB.
The new Environment Strategy Action Plan features 41 points of action, a key element of which is ensuring that birds of prey are properly protected.
Environment, sustainability and housing Minister Jane Davidson said: We all need to take special care to look after and improve our surroundings. This plan highlights the role of communities and how individuals and groups can make a real difference to their local environment.
