The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show has been cancelled because of bad weather.
Due to start on Friday 20 July, the three-day show usually attracts 60,000 visitors but organisers have cancelled the show because of the waterlogged ground.
A further 40mm of rain is forecast to fall in the next two weeks.
A spokesman for the ROYAL LANCASHIRE SHOW said that it will be another 10 days before the impact on Lancashire's economy is fully known.
This news follows the cancellation of two other shows in the county at Goosnargh and Longridge, also due to the rain.
