Big names set to go back on stage in aid of the Countryside Alliance this summer for the second Highclere Rocks concert
Rock fans and fieldsports fans are set to mingle with their picnics once again this summer in the Berkshire countryside after the announcement this week of the second Highclere Rocks concert.
After the success of last year’s event run in aid of the Countryside Alliance, some of the nation’s favourite rock stars have already signed up to play at this year’s event, including former Roxy Music frontman Bryan Ferry, father of pony club pin-up Otis, and keen Shot and guitar legend Eric Clapton.
The concert will take place on 19 May, at Highclere Castle, with proceeds once again going to the Countryside Alliance. Tickets cost £75 for adults, £50 for children. For details, tel (0871) 919 8321.
